Roma Coach Rudi Garcia defends the performance in defeat to Inter, and sounds a rallying cry for Champions League qualification.

The Giallorossi were expected to be contenders for the Scudetto this season, but have slumped dramatically since the turn of the year, and are now fighting to hold off Napoli for third place.

“In the dressing room they know that it’s in our hands,” Garcia told journalists in his Press conference ahead of the Sassuolo game.

“We know what we have to do. We need to focus game-by-game to qualify for the Champions League.

“Inter? A few things aside, we had a good game. We need to be more effective in the areas that matter, our area and the opposition’s.

“If we always play that way then we’ll win a lot of games.”
