Roma Coach Rudi Garcia looks forward to an “exciting week” in Serie A and the Champions League.

The Giallorossi take on Bayer Leverkusen in Germany tomorrow, before travelling to Florence to face Fiorentina on Sunday.

“We know that Bayer have a good team,” Garcia said in his Press conference ahead of the Bayer match.

“They play a high-pressing line, they play at a high pace and have done well in the Champions League, and a bit less well in the League.

“They have top players, it will be a great match. We know our state of mind, we’re here to get a result.

“It’s been 15 years since Roma won in Germany, we’ll try to change that. We know that the two games after those with Bayer will do little to change the standings.

“If we win tomorrow we’ll have the advantage in terms of qualification, and on Sunday we’ll be playing for first place.

“It’s an exciting week, I’m happy to be experiencing it and with results it will be even more positive.”

Antonio Rudiger and Edin Dzeko have returned to contention, but Garcia admits they may not be able to play the full match.

“They’re ready, but maybe they don’t have 90 minutes in them. They play two different roles, it takes less effort in defence.

“I can count on a full squad, apart from [Seydou] Keita and [Francesco] Totti. I’m not talking about long-term injuries, but apart from those two absences everyone is available.”
