The Coach was suspended for two rounds of Serie A because of a scuffle with a steward in the heated aftermath of the Genoa-Roma game, which ended with the Lupi winning 1-0.

Following Roma’s reaction to the decision, Garcia has attacked the disciplinary decision in a note released.

“After the baseless accusations levelled against me and the penalty to which I am victim, I denounce this intolerable attack on my honour and my reputation,” Garcia is quoted by news agency ANSA.

“I shall fight with all means to defend myself against this injustice and these lies.”
