Roma CEO Umberto Gandini is reportedly set to rejoin Milan as part of their new-look management team.

According to Calciomercato.com, Gandini is ‘a step away’ from returning to Milan, where he worked for 23 years, before moving to Roma in 2016.

The website claims the 58-year-old held talks with new Rossoneri owners Elliott Management on Monday to iron out the details of his new role.

The website claims the 58-year-old held talks with new Rossoneri owners Elliott Management on Monday to iron out the details of his new role.

Gandini worked as the right-hand man to Adriano Galliani at San Siro last time out, and he is expected to become the Diavolo’s new general manager or CEO.

The latter would only be an option if Ivan Gazidis did not arrive from Arsenal.
