Roma CEO Umberto Gandini is reportedly on the verge of returning to Milan in an executive capacity.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Gandini will meet Milan’s new chief executive Ivan Gazidis in London on Monday.

The 58-year-old was the Rossoneri’s managing director between 1993 and 2016, leaving after the club’s Chinese takeover.

However, Elliott Management has since ousted Li Yonghong’s board at San Siro and made corporate restructuring a priority.
