Galliani talks Ibra, Silvestre

Adriano Galliani has again issued a firm denial that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be leaving Milan, and also rules the club out of the race for Matias Silvestre.

Both players have been paired in recent weeks with respective transfers in and out of the San Siro outfit, but Vice-President Galliani has again looked to set the record straight.

Yesterday, Ibra’s agent cagily suggested that the player’s future with the Rossoneri lay in their hands.

“Ibrahimovic will definitely remain a Milan player, there is no problem with him,” Galliani declared on Monday evening to Sky.

“We’re not interested in Silvestre because we have Thiago Silva. With Silva we have found an agreement [on a new contract] that satisfies both parties.

“I’m not worried that others in the squad will now start asking for improved contracts too.”
