Monza director Adriano Galliani confirmed that he ‘talked about many things’ with Inter’s management in today’s meeting.

The newly promoted side, owned by former Italy Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, are looking to significantly strengthen their squad this summer as they look to confirm their rise to the topflight. Monza have been linked with moves for Andrea Pinamonti, Stefano Sensi and Lorenzo Pirola.

Speaking to reporters outside Inter’s headquarters at Viale della Liberazione, Galliani first spoke about the talks with the Nerazzurri.

“We’ll keep quiet for today, but we’re talking about many things.”

He provided a quick update on Monza’s midfield goals, confirming the push for Sensi, who joined Sampdoria on loan in January.

“We’re talking about Sensi, not Gagliardini.”

Finally, Galliani seemed a little hesitant when talking about Monza’s interest in Pinamonti, who impressed last season on loan with Empoli, scoring 13 goals in 36 games.

“No, maybe not, let’s see.”

Media reports suggest that Monza have offered around €15m for Pinamonti and are considering loan moves for both Sensi and Pirola, hoping to retain the latter.
