Milan CEO Adriano Galliani discussed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, said “we’ll see” on Mateo Kovacic, but ignored Karim Benzema.
The Rossoneri are, as ever, at the centre of transfer speculation going into the summer, despite holding negotiations to sell the club to Chinese investors.
“We never talked about Benzema with Real Madrid or his entourage,” Galliani told Mediaset Premium this morning.

“He is very admired by the Coaches, directors and President of Real, so we never thought of reaching him.”
When it came to the reported swoop to take ex-Inter midfielder Kovacic on loan, he changed his tune.
“Kovacic? We’ll see… I am not here to talk about the market.”
Yet he was pressed on the alleged meeting with agent Mino Raiola yesterday for Ibrahimovic, who will be a free agent from PSG.
“I always have meetings with Raiola, as we have a good rapport and he represents four or five Milan players. The problem is not meeting Raiola, but paying Ibrahimovic.”
This evening San Siro hosts the Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, with Fernando Torres returning to a stadium where he never quite delivered.
“At this moment there are many regrets. Torres hadn’t done very well here and wanted to go back to his beloved club.
“I am happy for him, he’s a good lad and we speak often. I’m pleased he’s back in a Champions League Final. Other than being a great player, he had the right physique and would’ve been perfect for Milan.
“Football is cyclical, so both Milan and Inter will get back to the top.”
