Adriano Galliani said Milan are “far from a deal” with Sampdoria for Roberto Soriano, but talks continue.

The CEO met with Blucerchiati President Massimo Ferrero and director of sport Carlo Osti at the Forte dei Marmi resort this morning.

“There’s nothing to report,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia reporters after exiting the meeting.

“We are far from a deal and now we’re going to lunch. Is Antonio Nocerino part of the talks? We don’t know yet.”

The Rossoneri are determined to sign Soriano for €10m, but Samp are not prepared to spread payment out over several instalments.

Ferrero also spoke to the reporters and said Galliani "is Italian football. He is a guru, a master."
