Monza CEO Adriano Galliani hailed the ‘fantastic nurses and doctors’, as he was discharged from hospital after recovering from COVID-19.

The former Milan director had been hospitalised for two weeks after testing positive for coronavirus and the manager announced that he was discharged on social media.

Galliani tested positive on February 26, exactly one month ago, after attending an assembly at the FIGC in Rome together with the Inter managers Beppe Marotta, Alessandro Antonello and Angelo Capellini, who also tested positive.

Galliani tested positive on February 26, exactly one month ago, after attending an assembly at the FIGC in Rome together with the Inter managers Beppe Marotta, Alessandro Antonello and Angelo Capellini, who also tested positive.

“I was hospitalised for two weeks in what looks like a sports facility from the outside,” Galliani wrote on Facebook.

“Inside there is impressive technology but above all the expertise and heart of the fantastic San Raffaele nurses and doctors.”

The CEO will now return to his job as CEO of Monza, who are currently fourth in Serie B after the defeat to Venezia last time.
