The CEO visited Destro’s house today in order to convince him to accept the transfer, which is on loan with an option to buy.

It’s believed the striker only wanted to move on a permanent basis, but has asked to sleep on it.

“Milan and Roma have already signed the paperwork on the loan with option to buy, so the player will decide tomorrow morning,” Galliani told MilanNews.it.

“Nothing has changed over the last few hours. There’s no percentage of this going through. We care about this move. If the player accepts, that is great, otherwise he will remain at Roma.”

Galliani was asked whether he’d turn to Sampdoria striker Stefano Okaka instead.

“Alternatives are studied when things go badly. The lad just asked for time until tomorrow morning, so now we need a little patience.

“The documents have already been signed by us and Roma.”

Galliani also commented on other potential transfer stories, such as Palermo centre-back Ezequiel Munoz and an exchange between Pablo Armero and Genoa’s Luca Antonelli.

“Munoz? Absolutely not. Bocchetti arrived because of injuries and the Mexes ban. Armero-Antonelli will not happen.

“Inzaghi? He’s solid.”
