Monza chairman Adriano Galliani highlighted the emotional undertones of tomorrow’s Serie A clash against Milan.

The Italian spent 21 years working alongside Silvio Berlusconi at the Rossoneri, from 1986 to 2017, before joining the former Italian Prime Minister at Monza in 2018. The pair managed to oversee Monza’s historic rise to the Italian topflight and now they’re ready to return to San Siro for a memorable match against Milan.

Speaking outside the League Assembly, Galliani spoke about his emotions ahead of Monza’s clash against Milan tomorrow.

“The emotions are endless. It’s my life that flows in front of me, already for a few days. Beyond being a supporter since childhood, I was a manager of Monza from 1975 to 1985, then Milan from 1986 to 2017, then again Monza from 2018 to 2022, so imagine…

“How does the game end tomorrow? Ah I don’t know, I swear I don’t know.”

Milan are desperate to pick up another three points tomorrow as they look to keep up the pressure on league leaders Napoli, who sit three points ahead at the top of the table.

Monza sit 14th in the table and will be dreaming of an upset as they look to firmly distance themselves from a possible relegation battle. The team have won three of their last five outings.
