Adriano Galliani left the door open for Mario Balotelli to Milan. “Kaka and Didier Drogba are 101% not coming. Balotelli is 99.9%…”
The Rossoneri Vice-President spoke of their transfer strategy in the final days of the January window and can’t bring himself to let go of the Manchester City striker.
“Kaka and Drogba are 101% not coming to Milan. Balotelli? He is 99.9%…” smiled Galliani.
Milan are still determined to bring Balotelli in on loan for six months with an option to buy, although the Eastlands club are adamant he won’t be leaving for less than £24m.
It had been reported the Rossoneri would sell Ignazio Abate and Luca Antonini to Zenit in order to raise funds.
“Abate and Antonini are staying. Their agent was in Russia to see through Salvatore Bocchetti’s transfer to Spartak Moscow, that is all.”
Meanwhile, Milan have officially bought half of Kevin Constant’s contract from Genoa in exchange for their 50 per cent of Francesco Acerbi, who had been in a co-ownership deal.
Cristian Zaccardo arrived from Parma in a straight swap with Djamel Mesbah, while Rodney Strasser joined the Tardini side on loan.
