The Juventus meeting with the agents of FC Porto winger Galeno went well today and he is reportedly happy to make the move if they can lower the €35m asking price.
It had been suggested this morning that an encounter was set up and now Sky Sport Italia assure it was a very positive get-together.
The Brazil international, who turns 27 in October, gave the all-clear for them to progress in negotiations with his club and reach an agreement.
Porto in strong position with Galeno
That is not going to be easy, because Porto are demanding around €30-35m to release the left-sided winger.
He only recently signed a new contract with the Portuguese side to June 2028, so they are in a strong position to hold on to their player.
The Portuguese season has already begun and Galeno made an immediate impact, scoring two goals in the dramatic Supertaça showdown with Sporting CP on Saturday.
Porto pipped it 4-3 in extra time, coming back from 3-0 down.
