Whilst original indications were that the 56-year-old would take a short break from the game following his resignation from the Italy job after their World Cup exit, reports are that the Turkish giants are in with an offer and talks are already advanced.

A number of outlets in Italy are running the line that Gala, led by sporting director and former Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”5″>Fiorentina player under Prandelli, Tomas Ujfalusi, have ‘wasted no time’ in probing the ground with an offer.

The latest reports have it that a meeting between the Coach’s representatives and officials from the Turkish side is happening in Rome.

It is understood that negotiations may already be advanced and that this meeting could be in place to finalise details ahead of an agreement being reached.

Speculation is that Prandelli’s return to club football could be confirmed by as early as this evening, with a €5m-a-season deal spoken of.

Galatasaray are in the market for a new Coach after splitting with Roberto Mancini this summer, whilst Mancini has incidentally been linked with replacing Prandelli in the national team hotseat.
