Milan are said to be in negotiations to sell their left-back Fode Ballo-Toure to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

According to Calciomercato.com, following on from reports via Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia, Galatasaray have made a firm approach to sign Ballo-Toure.

The 25-year-old was meant to be the understudy to Theo Hernandez at left-back, but barely played last season and has dropped even further down the pecking order this summer.

He made 10 Serie A appearances and two in the Champions League for a grand total of 534 minutes of football on the field.

The Senegal international was only purchased a year ago from AS Monaco for €5m and would be available for a similar figure.

A new meeting is expected at the start of next week to discuss terms and whether they can work out a transfer deal.

Galatasaray have already signed several former Serie A players this summer, including ex-Napoli striker Dries Mertens and sometime Fiorentina midfielder Lucas Torreira via Arsenal.

  1. Nope! He is the best backup to Theo in terms of style (obviously no where near as good.).

    Good sub.
