Roma and Italy left-back Leonardo Spinazzola has reportedly received offers from Galatasaray as well as clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the initial proposal has come in from Turkish giants Galatasaray, hoping to open negotiations going into the January transfer window.

There had already been suggestions in recent months that there was interest from Saudi Pro League teams, who can offer significantly higher wages.

Spinazzola was one of the best players for Italy when winning the EURO 2020 tournament, but also tore his Achilles tendon during that competition and has never been the same player since.

His contract with Roma is due to expire at the end of this season and he will turn 31 in March.

Although he managed 15 appearances for the Giallorossi between Serie A and the Europa League, scoring one goal and providing two assists, the first-choice for the left flank is now Nicola Zalewski.
