Hellas Verona goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò has impressed this season in Serie A, reportedly enough to earn approaches from Galatasaray and Bournemouth.

The shot-stopper has kept three clean sheets in the last seven rounds, conceding a total four goals, and these saves have helped them climb their way towards potential safety after a dismal start to the campaign.

Montipò turned 27 this week and started his career at Novara before experiences with Siena, Carpi, Benevento and in 2021 Verona.

According to Calciomercato.com, his performances have caught the eye of several international clubs, including Turkish giants Galatasaray.

There is also interest from the Premier League, with Bournemouth representatives seemingly attending Verona games to check out Montipò ahead of a summer swoop.

He is under contract until June 2025, but Bournemouth have already been shopping in Serie A during the January transfer window, trying to get Nicolò Zaniolo from Roma and settling for Sassuolo creative midfielder Hamed Junior Traore.
