Italy international Nicolò Zaniolo will fly out tomorrow for his Aston Villa medical after Galatasaray exchanged documents in the €31m deal.
According to Sportitalia, the two clubs have now finalised the paperwork and Zaniolo is packing his suitcases to take a flight tomorrow morning from Istanbul.
It is set to be a loan at a cost of €4m with an option to buy at the end of the season for a further €20m plus €7m in rather easy to achieve bonuses.
That will take the total cost of the operation to €31m, with Aston Villa also covering Zaniolo’s salary during the loan spell.
It brings it close to the €35m release clause written into his contract.
He had only arrived for Galatasaray in February after leaving Roma for €15m, but as part of that agreement, the Giallorossi will receive a 20 per cent cut of the sell-on fee.
The 24-year-old has 13 senior caps for Italy, scoring two goals.
He made just 12 appearances for Galatasaray contributing five goals and one assist.
