Inter “had talks with Palmeiras, but didn’t want Gabriel Jesus as much as Manchester City did,” revealed his agent.
The Brazilian eventually made the move to Pep Guardiola’s club and the Nerazzurri instead spent €29m on Santos talent Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa.
“I can say that Manchester City strongly wanted Gabriel,” agent Cristiano Simoes told Calciomercato.com.

“Inter had talks with Palmeiras, but never really went all the way into negotiations with us. I don’t know how the dialogue evolved between the two clubs.
“All I do know is that Gabriel was contacted directly by Guardiola and therefore realised how much Manchester City wanted him.
