Fiorentina could be about to shake up their goalkeeping department with deals for Milan’s Gabriel and Bordeaux’s Benoit Costil.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports Gabriel’s move to Fiorentina is ‘done’, with the Viola beating off competition from Sampdoria to sign the Brazilian on a four-year contract.

The 25-year-old joined Milan fron Cruzeiro in 2012 but went on to play just seven times for the Rossoneri in six seasons, while being loaned to Carpi, Napoli, Cagliari and Empoli in that time.

The newspaper adds a second shot-stopper could arrive in the form of Costil, who helped Bordeaux finish sixth in Ligue 1 over the past season.

The 30-year-old had been linked with Milan prior to his switch to Les Girondins last summer and was part of the France squad who finished runners-up at Euro 2016.

Fiorentina are in need of reinforcemens between the sticks after Marco Sportiello returned to Atalanta.
