Gabriel Barbosa’s agent admits the Inter striker “is not happy” with his lack of playing time.

The Brazilian, known as Gabigol, joined the Nerazzurri from Santos in the summer, but has so far played just 16 minutes.

“Gabriel is not happy at the moment,” Wagner Ribeiro warned on Radio Bandeirantes

“It’s not about dressing room issues with his teammates, the problem is that he’s never had a chance to take to the pitch.

“We want the situation to be resolved in January, [Frank] De Boer told Kia Joorabchian shortly before he was sacked that there was no problem with Gabriel, but even now [Stefano] Pioli, just like the Dutchman, isn’t giving the lad a chance.

“If you don’t get onto the pitch when Napoli are three goals down like at Napoli, when do you play?

“A return to Santos? It’s possible that he’ll return to Brazil in 2017, though it’d be hard for him as it’d be a step back, a defeat.

“Then there’s the question of the non-EU slot at Inter to consider: if he goes out on loan then he’ll lose that place he took when they bought him.

“That’s why it’s easier for a loan move to another Italian club.”
