Inter could be about to give away Gabriel Barbosa and Joao Mario, just a year after spending almost €70m on the pair.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Inter have agreed to loan Gabigol to Fenerbahce, subject to the forward’s approval.

The broadcaster adds the Brazilian will talk to Luciano Spalletti over the next few days, when the Coach will explain that playing as a leading light for another team will put him in good stead for the 2018-19 campaign.

However, it remains to be seen whether Gabigol will accept such a proposal, given he has already turned down Las Palmas.

As for Joao Mario, Tuttomercatoweb’s Luca Marchetti believes the Portugal midfielder could be heading for Paris Saint-Germain.

“Kia Joorabchian was recently in Milan and met [Inter sporting director] Ausilio, both of whom discussed Joao Mario, who is liked by the French club,” he said.

Joao Mario fared better than Gabigol last season but was still perceived not to have lived up to expectations.
