Manolo Gabbiadini is ready to reject interest from big clubs in order to stay and mature at Atalanta.

The striker, who scored a hat-trick in Italy's 7-2 Under-21 victory over Liechtenstein on Thursday, is recognised as a potential star of the future.

"He's in the right place to grow," agent Silvio Pagliari told calciomercato.it after his latest Azzurrini heroics.

"Atalanta believe in him a lot. He's being followed by some big clubs, but the idea is to let him mature in peace and tranquillity.

"He'll only turn 20 in November, but he is a boy with great potential so it's only normal for him to be monitored by big teams – and not just Italian ones."

Gabbiadini, who has nine goals in 11 games for the U-21 side, has made four Serie A appearances for Atalanta this term – even if that only translates to 109 minutes of action.
