Goal Italia has reported that Mirante is struggling with a meniscus injury and Roma have officially announced that he has been replaced in the squad ahead of the visit from Belgium.

They have handed the back-up role to the Brazilian 22-year-old Fuzato, who might get his first chance to play if current No1 Pau Lopez will need to be replaced at some point.

Fuzato arrived at the Olimpico in the summer of 2018 but has yet to play for the club and has figured as a third choice in Serie A this term.
