Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani doesn’t know what Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s latest social media post means but insists he’d be happy to work with the ex-Rossoneri striker.
Ibrahimovic seems on the verge of returning to the Stadio Meazza, either as a club director or as part of Stefano Pioli’s staff.
The Swede had met Gerry Cardinale on Monday and posted a cryptic social media post on Tuesday morning writing ‘Tic tac…’ and suggesting something will happen soon.
“I don’t know what it means,” Furlani told reporters on Tuesday before an institutional lunch with PSG directors in Milan city centre.
Furlani also met Cardinale on Monday.
“We meet every time and the relationship is always strong,” said the Rossoneri director.
He was asked again about Ibrahimovic’s potential return but remained silent. Nevertheless, he eventually admitted: “Of course, I’d be happy to work with him, he’s a great champion.”
