Lazio patron Claudio Lotito reportedly asks for an immediate reaction against Inter and expects all the players to stand by coach Maurizio Sarri.

Il Corriere dello Sport reveals the President expects the group to bounce back from the inexplicable 3-0 defeat to Bologna before the international break.

The President has already shown he has married the idea of Sarri taking Lazio to the next level and said the new project needs time ahead of the 1-1 draw with Torino.

“Like all changes, this too needs time to ensure that the team can unite and acquire the new settings needed to reach certain targets,” Lotito then said, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

“You just need to acquire that mentality and those automatism as the tactical set-up is completely different. Time will be the best solution to the problem.”

After his words, Lazio picked up a 3-2 win over Roma in the Derby della Capitale and beat Lokomotiv Moscow in the Europa League.

But the change of attitude during the trip to Bologna on October 3 didn’t please the patron, who was furious with the defeat at the Renato Dall’Ara.

The newspaper reveals Lotito then appeared in the dressing room when training resumed on Wednesday, despite the absence of the international players.

Sporting director Igli Tare and Maurizio Sarri was there when Lotito addressed the players and challenged their soft attitude against the Rossoblu.

The report claims he asked for maximum commitment and maximum availability for the Sarri project. No excuses, no extenuating circumstances due to clashes with referees of the League.

Lazio prepare for a big home game against reigning champions Inter, former coach Simone Inzaghi’s new side, and will then host Marseille in the Europa League on Thursday next week.

  1. That title made me believe Lotito threw the kitchen sink at the players or something, however it was just the usual passion from patron #Lotito.

To be fair, he is likely the most attached owner of them all in Serie A so I am not surprised he went in to give em some…reminders.
