Inter remained silent after a 2-2 home draw against Lazio on Sunday as the club were furious with refereeing decisions, so not even their coach Simone Inzaghi spoke to the media.

Inter coach Inzaghi didn’t comment on Sunday’s 2-2 home draw against Lazio as the club refused to send any of its members in front of the media after the game.

Neither Inzaghi, his players, nor the directors showed up to talk to reporters, including right-holders Sky Sport and DAZN or at a post-match press conference.

The Nerazzurri were furious with refereeing decisions that led to the latest 2-2 draw against Lazio and other incidents in previous matches.

Inter wasted a golden chance to go top of the table as their rivals Napoli were held to a 0-0 away draw at Parma.

A win would have allowed Inter to overtake Napoli and lead them by one point with just 90 minutes remaining in the 2024-25 campaign.

Both Inzaghi and Napoli coach Antonio Conte were sent off last night and will be suspended for the last game of the season.

Inter and Napoli will play on Friday night. The Nerazzurri will visit Como, and Napoli will host Cagliari at the Stadio Maradona.

Inter vs Napoli reactions – what Baroni said

Lazio coach Baroni spoke to DAZN after last night’s 2-2 draw away at Inter, explaining the incident that sent him and Simone Inzaghi off: “He’s an incredible coach and does something extraordinary. I saw the entire bench stand up, and I said they couldn’t do that. However, I don’t think either of us deserved to be sent off—we even watched the rest of the match together.”

  1. Inzaghi should blame himself, he always plays defensive once he is leading and allow other team to take control of the game, that is why inter have dropped points all season..how many games have inter dominated from start to finish in the league this season? Napoli deserves the title and even as a 25yrs inter supporter I will say this. Forza Inter always
