The news that Fabio Paratici’s 30-month ban has been extended worldwide has divided Tottenham supporters, with some relieved to see the back of the Italian and others concerned about the future.

The FIGC handed Paratici a 30-month ban back in January for alleged financial malpractice, during the same trial that saw his former club Juventus handed a 15-point deduction.

The ban was initially only active for Italian football, so the FIGC appealed to FIFA to extend this worldwide, something that was done today. Paratici has already appealed his case to CONI’s Collegio di Garanzia and a trial will take place on April 19.

Paratici joined Tottenham in the summer of 2021 following his Juventus departure and did well with player signings, adding people like Dejan Kulusevski, Cristian Romero and Djed Spence to the squad, but did not impress supporters with his choice of coaches.

The news that Paratici’s ban has been extended has divided Tottenham fans, who made their feelings clear on social media.
