President Aurelio De Laurentiis deemed Albania international Elseid Hysaj unsellable last summer, but has changed his mind after the 25-year-old struggled under new Coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Neither Mario Rui nor Kevin Malcuit have been able to hold down a starting spot and could find themselves on the transfer list, while Faouzi Ghoulam hasn’t regained his form since recovering from his long injury layoff.

Manuel Lazzarri from SPAL has been long tipped to be of interest to the Partenopei and would cost in the region of €20m, while his teammate Mohamed Fares has also caught Guintoli’s eye.

Benfica’s Alex Grimaldo was rumoured to be signed last year for a fee of €30m, but the Spaniard has a €60m release clause.

Kieran Trippier of Tottenham Hotspur has been the hot name this week, but the Azzurri could be priced out of a move for the England international with the Premier League club wanting around the €40m mark for the 28-year-old.

Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell is the surprise name on the list, as Guintoli had spoken to former Coach Maurizio Sarri last season about the 22-year-old, but nothing came of it.

Chilwell is of interest to Manchester City now and is probably out of Napoli’s price range, as the Foxes would want to cash in on the England international.
