Ivan Perisic’s move from Inter to Tottenham is close with reports in Italy suggestion a ‘full agreement’ has been reached.
The Croatia winger’s contract with the Nerazzurri expires on June 30 and he had been expected to leave with Juventus heavily linked.
Reports emerged on Friday that Perisic was likely to choose a move to Spurs over staying at Inter.
And Fabrizio Romano tweeted on Saturday that a deal is imminent over a two-year deal with a medical likely for next week.
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte had sent Perisic on loan to Bayern Munich when he arrived to take over at Inter in 2019.
However, Perisic returned in Conte’s second campaign with the Nerazzurri an excelled in a new wing-back role to help Inter with the Scudetto.
This season Inter failed to retain their title but Perisic was arguably their best player and scored twice in the 4-2 Coppa Italia final win over Juventus.
Conte has had success signing players from Serie A while at Juve with Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur impressing.

Great player for Inter last season, and was Inter’s best player this season. That said the economics in the PL and Serie A are completely different and he can get more money over a longer term with Spurs. He has also expressed a desire to experience the PL in the past. Gosens will be great and is far younger. Really appreciate his play over the years with Inter and wish him well at Spurs.
I only can wish him best of luck. It is much better to let him go while we have Gosens and have to cut wages too.
Robin Gosens is the next man up. Perisic has been great for Inter but at age 33, he’s definitely seeking a new adventure and a final paycheck. Players come and players go but the club will forever remain. Forza Inter!
He was my player of the season if Inter had actually won the league. He was Inter’s best player without doubt. Setting up goals or scoring them every game.
…and damn I’m afraid that Conte also wants Alessandro Bastoni and Lautaro Martinez !! If he succeeds, we will see Inter play with the Spurs shirt!
