It looks as though it will be a long season for both of these clubs and these Frosinone vs. Sassuolo predictions suggest that this clash will be a fairly evenly balanced affair.
1 – The draw – 12/5
2 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 1/1
3 – Both teams to score – 4/6
4 – Andrea Pinamonti to score at any time – 11/5
5 – A 1-1 draw – 11/2
Eusebio Di Francesco will have known that he faced a tough task keeping Frosinone in Serie A this season after taking over from Fabio Grosso in the summer. But he will probably be feeling a little more confident after the three matches of the season.
An opening day defeat at the hands of champions Napoli will have been just about expected – but the Canarini have not lost since, beating Atalanta and drawing with Udinese. A home game against Sassuolo is now probably the easiest game of the season so far.
That doesn’t mean that Frosinone will have a straightforward day on Sunday though. There will probably be problems scoring a lot of goals throughout the campaign, but there is a chance to get something out of this one.
Sassuolo looked as though they were really in trouble before the international break. It seemed as though a relegation battle would be on the cards – especially if Domenico Berardi was leaving to join Juventus. But that move never materialised and the Italy international is already having a positive effect on results.
After two defeats to kick off the season, the Neroverdi won against previously unbeaten Hellas Verona, with Berardi scoring two. That will give Alessio Dionisi’s side some confidence on their return to Serie A action, although a point will probably be the most they will get out of this trip.

Frosinone (4-2-3-1): Turati; Oyono, Romagnoli, Monterisi, Marchizza; Barrenechea, Mazzitelli; Soulé, Harroui, Gelli; Cheddira
Sassuolo (4-3-3): Consigli; Toljan, Tressoldi, Erlić, Vina; Bajrami, Boloca, Matheus Henrique; Berardi, Pinamonti, Laurienté
Di Francesco should not be tempted to tinker with a successful formula, after the goalless draw with Udinese and the surprise win over Atalanta. He has no fresh injuries to worry about after the international break and could go with a largely unchanged side for this one.
Dionisi will also not be forced into making any changes to his starting XI and will hope that his players can keep up the fine form from the win over Verona here.
