Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is starting to plan ahead for the summer transfer window and has identified a number of interesting targets.

The Partenopei are close to booking their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and are on track to win their first Scudetto in three decades, putting them in dreamland at this stage of the season.

A key factor behind Napoli’s on-pitch success this season has been the hard work carried out off of it, with Giuntoli and president Aurelio De Laurentiis making a number of smart transfer market decisions, bringing in stars like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Kim Min-Jae in low-cost deals.

La Gazzetta dello Sport details how Napoli want to pick up an exciting forward in the summer, regardless of whether or not Victor Osimhen is sold. Their current target is Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund, and they may even be willing to leave him in Bergamo on loan for another year.

The Partenopei do not want to sell Osimhen in the summer but would agree to a deal for the right, and likely incredibly lucrative, offer.

Another interesting target of Napoli’s is Wolves winger Adama Traoré, who will be a free agent at the end of this season.

The Campania outfit are also keeping a close eye on Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic and Empoli‘s Tommaso Baldanzi.
