The world of football embraces Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen after the dramatic moments in Denmark vs. Finland with many messages of support from players and teams.
Eriksen collapsed in the final minutes of the first half of the Euro 2020 match at Parken Stadium and the TV images showed the Nerazzurri star was given CPR on the pitch.
The midfielder was ‘transferred to hospital and was stabilised’ after having received medical attention on the pitch.
Denmark finished the match, as Eriksen reportedly asked them to continue over a video call from the hospital bed, reassuring his teammates he was OK.
As the exams continue in the hospital, the world of football show their support with messages to the Denmark playmaker.
“The No.10s never give up,” Totti wrote. “Forza Christian, we are with you.”
