Juventus are looking to pick up a new full back in the upcoming January transfer window and they have a number of options in mind.

Bianconeri coach Massimiliano Allegri has used both a three and four-man defence this season, using Juan Cuadrado as either a right wing back or right back. The Colombian veteran is clearly in the twilight of his career and Juventus are keen to add some new blood to their squad as they look to return to the top.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Juventus’ number one choice for the right back role is Wilfried Stephane Singo, whose contract expires with Torino at the end of this season.  Exploratory talks have already been opened between the two clubs and the 21-year-old is valued at around €20m.

A backup option to Singo is outgoing Roma right back Rick Karsdorp, who did not join the Giallorossi squad for their mid-season retreat to Japan. The idea for the Dutchman is a loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause attached.

Another consideration is Real Madrid’s Alvaro Odriozola, but he commands a high salary and the Spanish giants would only accept a definitive deal.

Looking ahead to the future, Juventus are keeping a close eye on Spezia’s Emil Holm and a deal could be done next summer.
