Boulaye Dia almost single-handedly kept Salernitana in Serie A and his breakout season has attracted the attention of multiple Serie A and Premier League clubs.

The 26-year-old Senegalese striker joined the Granata on a loan deal with a €12m buy option attached from Villarreal last summer, and he hit the ground running immediately in Campania, scoring three goals and providing two assists in his first four Serie A appearances.

Across the season, Dia netted 16 goals in 33 games, guiding Salernitana to a number of points to ensure their safety in Serie A. Considering his incredible debut year, it’s no surprise that the Granata will activate the buy option attached to his loan move, but they could lose him almost immediately.

Page two of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how a long list of clubs are seriously interested in signing Dia this summer, with the keenest Serie A sides being Roma, Lazio, Napoli and Fiorentina.

In the Premier League, Everton, West Ham and Burnley are all known to be interested, setting up an exciting summer for the 26-year-old.

Until July 15, Dia would cost €25m due to the inclusion and activation of a release clause in his contract, which became valid after his 15th goal of the Serie A season.
