According to Foot Mercato, Milan target Renato Sanches is in Paris to finalise his move to PSG.

The Portugal international had emerged as Milan’s priority target to replace the departing Franck Kessié who has signed with Barcelona and will join the Catalans as a free agent.

Milan had offered €18m to sign Renato Sanches who has refused to extend his contract expiring in 2023 with Lille. However, PSG have pounced on the player and are open to offering up to €30m, a fee that the Serie A champions are not open to matching.

Foot Mercato is now reporting that Sanches has flown to Paris from Portugal, where he was spending his holidays, to negotiate with PSG along with his agent Jorge Mendes.

The goal is to reach a total agreement and finalise the deal. Lille are expected to begin their pre-season tomorrow, but it remains to be seen if Sanches will join his teammates.

  1. Shaking my head. Here comes the next person saying so what? He’s injury prone or this or that.

Thing is, a club like Milan can’t lose targets one after the other specially after putting the time and courting them for months or even a year.

  2. 2 players lost and yet I find myself thinking we’ll be alright. Mainly because neither is a world beater and this happens to every club in every transfer window.

Amazing how both are gone to clubs that will pay them what they want. Coincidence I’m sure.

  3. If there’s a person who can boss Kessie, he’s the one. Just watch the Milan Vs Lille UEL and you’d understand. Galtier ‘s move to PSG changed the entire landscape. To see the bright side, there are more critical positions to be filled.

  4. This one stings. With Lukaku back at Inter, Milan needs more scoring prowess. At this point, Inter are closer to that second star on their kit. >.<
