Gigio Donnarumma’s PSG have got Real Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16 after the first draw was declared void.

The Ligue 1 giants had got the Red Devils in the first draw that UEFA eventually canceled after Atletico and Real Madrid’s complaints.

Liverpool in, Man United out: the video that shows why the Champions League draw will be redone

“Following a technical problem with the software of an external service provider that instructs the officials as to which teams are eligible to play each other, a material error occurred in the draw for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16,” UEFA wrote on Twitter.

“As a result of this, the draw has been declared void and will be entirely redone at 15:00 CET.”

PSG got Real Madrid in the redraw, meaning Leo Messi will return to the Bernabeu to face Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

Madrid are the La Liga leaders, while PSG are top of the Ligue 1 table.

It remains to be seen if Gigio Donnarumma will play any of the two matches.

The former Milan goalkeeper was given his Champions League debut against Manchester City in September and has played three games in Europe’s elite competition this season.

“We played seven games this month, Keylor Navas was sent off against Nantes and was suspended against Saint-Etienne. They’ve played five and four matches, so we trust both of them,” Pochettino said at a post-match press conference on Sunday.

PSG beat Monaco 2-0 over the weekend, with Gigio starting between the sticks.

Meantime, Real Madrid are all but happy about the outcome of the second draw.

“It was surprising, regrettable and very difficult to understand,” Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueño told Marca, “especially considering the millions of fans who were waiting for the draw, as well as the whole world of sport.”

According to reports in Spain, Florentino Perez is furious with UEFA. Perez, along with Andrea Agnelli and Barcelona’s Joan Laporta, is one of the architects of the SuperLeague and all three European giants are still formally involved in the competition.
