Venezia completed their tour of the Netherlands unbeaten after wins over FC Twente and Utrecht and today’s 0-0 draw with Groningen.
The newly-promoted Serie A side had an impressive pre-season experience on Dutch soil under coach Paolo Zanetti.
They started out on July 31 with a 3-2 victory over Utrecht, then saw off FC Twente 1-0 on August 3.
This evening, they held Groningen to a goalless stalemate for their second consecutive clean sheet.
