Napoli came back from an early error to beat Wisla Krakow 2-1 in today’s friendly, with Matteo Politano and Zinedine Machach on target.

Luciano Spalletti was missing several star players in Poland, including Victor Osimhen, and got off to the worst possible start when Amir Rrahmani’s howler playing out from the back allowed Brown Forbes to go clear on goal.

Politano wasted the chance to get them back on level terms, as his penalty was parried by the goalkeeper following a foul on Eljif Elmas.

He made up for it by getting the equaliser on 69 minutes with a solo slalom through defenders, finished by a left-foot angled drive.

Machach sealed the victory late on, surging forward down the left, cutting inside and firing into the roof of the net with his left boot.

It is the second prestigious friendly win for Napoli after beating Bayern Munich 3-0.
