Dusan Vlahovic and Danilo were on target as Juventus secured a 2-2 friendly draw with French side Brest, but it was another far from convincing performance.

Coach Thiago Motta set his men out in a 4-3-3 formation at the Stadio Adriatico in Pescara and it was the second pre-season friendly following a heavy 3-0 defeat to FC Nurnberg.

Michele Di Gregorio showed why he was chosen for this new approach, working on playing out from the back and sometimes acting as a sweeper-keeper, albeit with some risks.

Tim Weah forced a save from distance and Vlahovic nodded wide from an Andrea Cambiaso corner.

Camara put Brest in front straight after the restart, beating substitute goalkeeper Mattia Perin.

Vlahovic converted a penalty to equalise after Manuel Locatelli was clumsily brought down by Martin.

Douglas Luiz came on and made an immediate impact, stinging the goalkeeper’s gloves, before providing the assist that sent Danilo clear on goal.

However, Cambian equalised 12 minutes later to make it another disappointing Juve result.
