Serie A new boys Brescia earned an impressive 2-0 friendly victory over Besiktas with Alfredo Donnarumma’s brace.

The Rondinelle had one goal either side of half-time and were in charge for long periods of the match, played at their pre-season training camp in Austria.

Loris Karius was tested early on by Luca Tremolada and Donnarumma, the breakthrough coming in first half stoppages with Bruno Martella’s cross from the left for a Donnarumma tap-in.

Straight after the restart, it was 2-0, as Donnarumma pounced on a Domagoj Vida error and went clear on goal to finish it off.

Tremolada’s free kick was palmed out of the top corner and Muhayer Oktay drilled wide, but Leonardo Morosini was denied by a deflection in the final minute.
