Bologna lost two 60-minute friendly matches against Liverpool with an aggregate score of 3-0 in a new type of pre-season test.

Sinisa Mihajlovic set out two different teams at the Camille Fournier Stadium in Evian Les Bains, France.

Rather than one 90-minute game with numerous substitutions, the two clubs decided to have a pair of 60-minute matches with completely different teams.

Diogo Jota and Saido Mané got the early goals in the first game, then Takumi Minamino was the only man on target for the second encounter on a Xherdan Shaqiri assist.

Riccardo Orsolini had a goal ruled offside, while Divock Origi fired a penalty onto the upright.
