“The beginning of the season? I don’t think we could have asked for anything better,” Frey said to Sky Sports.

“For now we’re enjoying the moment as we wait for Juventus. Despite their difficult start, in that stadium they are always to be feared.

“Is it Alberto Paloschi’s year? I hope so for us and for him because it would mean we would have a more relaxed season.

“We don’t know why we’ve started so well, but we must take the opportunity to get as many positive results as possible. Seven goals scored and just one conceded is certainly not bad.

“Rolando Maran? It was tough against Lazio, but he has maintained the tension, preparing us for Juventus mentally and physically.

“The arrival of Simone Pepe? He must work hard to get back to full fitness and the Coach has begun to help him integrate into the club.

“He could be the player to help us make a leap in quality – he could be decisive.”
