Remo Freuler has encouraged Atalanta to take nothing for granted ahead of the return leg against Valencia in the Champions League.
The Switzerland international scored his first ever goal in the Champions League when Atalanta ran riot with Los Che on Wednesday.
“My goal was beautiful, but the most important thing was the win,” he told Atalanta’s official website. “I’m really happy, we had a great game for about 60 or 70 minutes.
“Then we made a few mistakes and they grabbed the opportunity to score.”

It ended in an emphatic 4-1 win, but the consolation goal from Denis Cheryshev will keep La Dea on their toes, according to the 27-year-old midfielder.
“The goal we conceded will keep us focused on the return leg,” he added. “Their attackers are dangerous, and we haven’t done anything yet.”
