Reports from France suggest Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has agreed to the terms of a new contract with the club.

The 22-year-old Georgian winger has been the standout star of this Serie A season, immediately hitting the ground running following his €11.5m move from Dinamo Batumi in the summer.

Playing a vital role for Napoli in both Serie A and the Champions League, Kvaratskhelia has scored 14 goals and provided 16 assists in 30 games across both competitions this campaign.

As reported by FootMercato.net, Kvaratskhelia has agreed to sign a new contract with Napoli, extending his deal by one year and significantly increasing his salary.

The Georgian winger will now earn around €4m net per season including add-ons and will be contracted to the club until June 2028. There is also no release clause in the contract.

The final details are now being resolved and Kvaratskhelia could put pen to paper in the coming weeks, confirming his near-future in the campaign capital.
