French duo join Milan in Florentino race

Milan are interested in signing Portuguese midfielder Florentino Luis from Benfica, with French sides Nice and Rennes holding talks with the player, according to reports.

The 20-year-old was first linked with the Rossoneri in Portuguese newspaper Record.

This has now been confirmed by Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio.

Milan would like to sign Luis on loan, but Benfica would also like to insert an option to buy worth €50m.

However as of yet the Rossoneri haven’t tabled a bid for the player.
