Roma are reportedly weighing up the possibility of replacing Emerson Palmieri with free agent Guilherme Siqueira.

The claim was made by Pagine Romaniste, with Siqueira available at no cost after leaving Atletico Madrid last summer.

The former Udinese left-back had spent the prior 18 months on loan with Valencia but played just 26 times in a season-and-a-half at Mestalla.

The 31-year-old would replace Emerson, who has been the subject of speculation linking him with moves to Juventus and Chelsea.
