Davide Frattesi partially returned to group training on Wednesday and will be available against Salernitana on Friday.

Calciomercato.com reports the Italy international has recovered from a muscle injury that forced him out of action in the last two Serie A matches against Juventus and Roma.

According to the report, Frattesi partially trained with the group on Wednesday and will return to full group training on Thursday. Therefore, he will be available against Salernitana on Friday.

However, it remains to be seen whether he will start against the Serie A strugglers who have just sacked Simone Inzaghi’s brother Filippo to hire Fabio Liverani.

Frattesi’s recovery time is in line with expectations, as several sources reported last week that the Italian midfielder would be available against Salernitana.

Frattesi joined Inter from Sassuolo on an initial loan deal with an option to buy last summer and has scored four goals in 27 appearances with the Serie A giants this term.
