Jens Petter Hauge seems destined to leave Milan after one season and a move to Eintracht Frankfurt could reportedly be announced soon.

The Norwegian moved to Milan from Bodo/Glimt last October, having impressed the Rossoneri during the preliminary stages of the Europa League.

But the young winger has reportedly not convinced Stefano Pioli and Calciomercato.com reports the directors are prepared for a permanent sale after discussing with the player’s representatives.

Several requests have arrived for Hauge, with both Udinese and Torino interested in the 21-year-old, who was given 24 competitive appearances for the Diavolo in 2020-21.

Hauge scored five goals and contributed one assist in his first season with Milan, but it seems to be his final season in Via Aldo Rossi.

Eintracht Frankfurt are in pole position ahead of German rivals Wolfsburg and are willing to offer €8m outright, and another €4m in potential add-ons.

The outlet believes Milan are expecting a total of €14m for the Norwegian and the two parties are in advanced talks over a move for the former Aalesund FK player.

The dialogues continue and Milan are expecting Eintracht Frankfurt to return with a bigger offer and hope to close a deal with the Bundesliga side.
